Whats the point in conducting and popularizing distros. I see no point in popularizing distros as if its too good then people by themselves would/should start using it and thats what people should target on rather than talking about Ubuntu is great ……

Just waste of time

Your ogg-feed is broken. Open that url:

and have a look

20th episode – 1 byte file
- Ubuntupodcast-UbuntuPodcastEpisode20425.ogg (Ogg Audio, 1.0 bytes)

21th episode – but the media-file plays the 20th episode:
- Ubuntupodcast-UbuntuPodcastEpisode21470.ogg (Ogg Audio, 70.3 MB)

Thanks for letting us know about the feeds !

@ggg,

I’m not sure I understand what you are suggesting. Are you saying that if its good, people will automatically use it? Think its obvious that is almost never true. Usually the group with the biggest marketing budget wins.

Also, the process of making Ubuntu, Linux, and open source good, is quite complicated. The stuff that you see discussed on digg, slashdot, news sites, blogs, and other podcasts is just the end product. Sure the features the end user sees is important, but the community behind it has to support it.

And its that community that we are trying to promote, not just the end product.

@Bernd,

Thanks for letting us know. They should be fixed in the feed and links in the first comment.
